Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon

Good morning guys! Yesterday I fell asleep with my contacts still in. So my eyes are a little frustrated with me this morning, but it will soon pass. I wear my contacts so seldom that sometimes I forget to take them out :P

This morning I made oatmeal with apples and cinnamon for breakfast. It’s a really simple recipe and it’s so delicious! I make mine in the microwave so I like to make it in a mug so that I won’t burn my hand when I take it out. Just a tip :) To learn how to make it, keep reading below :)



Into a mug, or a bowl if you prefer, put 1 deciliter of fiber oats, a pinch of salt, some flax seeds and some cinnamon. Mix the ingredients together and add 2 deciliter of water. Mix again and cook in the microwave for 2 minutes at 700W.

While it’s cooking, dice half a red apple into cubes. When the oatmeal is ready, stir and let it rest for about half a minute and then put the apples on top. Serve with some milk, either on the oatmeal itself or in a glass on the side. I prefer to have mine on the side, because I don’t care for the texture that the oatmeal gets when you mix it with milk, but that’s a personal preference :)
