Leek soup

Hi guys! Today I wanted to share my favorite soup recipe with you guys :) This leek soup is a favorite with both me and my boyfriend, and if I ask him what he wants for dinner, this soup is always a strong contender. To learn how to make this easy recipe, keep on reading :)

For four portions, take one big leak and rinse it to get rid of dirt and soil. Chop the whole thing up into small pieces. Heat up a non stick pot and add some butter. Cook the leaks while occasionally stirring for about 10 minutes, until they are shiny and slightly see-through. 

Add 5 deciliters of water to the leaks, along with two blocks of veggie stock. Stir until the blocks dissolve.

Add 3 deciliters of milk and 3 deciliters of cream, and stir. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Add some salt and black pepper  to taste and serve.

This soup can be stored in the fridge for a few days and you can heat it up on the stove or in the microwave when needed :) I hope you have enjoyed this recipe. Leave me a comment below if you try it :D Talk to you later!
